FACT's Mission

• Maintain a ferret rescue and adoption service;
   
• Provide lifetime foster care for old and sick ferrets;
   
• Supply unbiased ferret information to new and prospective owners, pet shops, veterinarians, governmental agencies and animal shelters;
   
• Provide knowledgeable speakers for seminars;
   
• Sponsor fun ferret shows & participate in expositions to answer questions and provide general & specific care information;
   
• Disseminate ferret health care information and support ferret health care studies;
   
• Offer networking opportunities for ferret owners and caretakers;
   
• Furnish a bi-monthly newsletter providing up to date health and care information; and,
   
• Serve as a model for the development and operation of additional ferret and exotic pet educational and humane organizations.
