Shaw's Supermarkets (In MA,
Star Markets) is a Northeastern grocery chain that will donate 1% of
your total grocery purchase to FACT. There are some restrictions:
You must make your purchases on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and it
doesn't apply to things like alcohol, cigarettes, stamps, or milk.
While it's not going to make us rich, for those who shop at Shaws's or
Star, it's a terrific way to help us out without costing you a penny!
Simply go to
www.shaws.com/communityrewards. Type in your Rewards card number and
telephone number, and it will bring you to a screen where you can enter
our ID, which is 49001022799. Then click on "Add Organization."
You can actually split your donations between up to 4 different
registered charities. Please note: You will be
asked to re-enroll each year.
If for some reason the site won't let you log on with your current phone
number, you can call 877.932.7948 and they will update all your
information. It's entered into their system immediately. |
